After a nice pleasant summer in the northeast, Fall has started to set in. Down to 45 degrees F overnight and a chilly walk to work from the parking lot in the morning. Brings back wonderful thoughts of the chance to be in Sosua year round and skip the winter cold altogether. And 45 degrees is just the beginning. Brrrrrrrr
Saskia and Marc also sent us a YouTube link to a very professional, although heavy on the travel propaganda, video that is a new advertisement from Republica Domincana. It has been added to our Interesting DR Links in the Sidebar to the left. The interesting thing to me is that it focuses specifically on the North Coast - Sosua, Puerto Plata, Cabarete. Even though we know there is a lot of travel from the U.S to the DR, we seldom see travel ads in the U.S. for the DR and never for the North Coast. It would be exciting if we see that ad in the U.S. someday.
